Casa e Bottega - Gluten-Free, Vegetarian Brunch in Positano, Italy

From the moment we walked in I loved this place. It had such a warm, peaceful, friendly atmosphere and decoration. I can’t say enough about how welcoming they were for our dog. Then the food came… So delicious. It started with the beautiful meatballs that melted in our mouth. And then the crêpes, ravioli, and the gorgeous local dessert, sbriciolata cake was the cherry on the top. And they was open in December when so many other places are closed, I can’t recommend this place enough..

This was hands down my favourite place we went in all of Italy. The atmosphere was out of this world. It was still high enough up the hillside that there was a beautiful view out their front door. It was bright with lots of greenery inside. We went for breakfast and had some cappuccinos and croissants. They were delicious. I wish we went for lunch because their other food items coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. Their menu was reasonably priced. It's all fresh and made in house. The staff were very friendly.

Casa e Bottega truly impressed us with their impeccable service. We stopped in last minute needing a quick breakfast before catching our ferry, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The space itself is beautiful — filled with greenery and well-cared-for plants, with a cute, relaxed vibe that immediately makes you want to stay longer. It’s the kind of place where you’d love to slowly enjoy breakfast and sip coffee without a rush. Even though we were short on time, the ladies made sure our food came out quickly so we could eat comfortably and still make our ferry. The service was excellent, and the food and coffee were both great. Would absolutely come back and spend more time here next visit.

This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Positano! I would eat here everyday, especially with the friendly dogs roaming around. The salmon with avocado is so fresh and tasty, the seared tuna on brioche is decadent, the tortellini melts in your mouth. Every bite was perfect! If you're in Positano, you must try this restaurant.

Loved this restaurant! Cozy yet bright and airy. Beautiful greenery everywhere and light and inventive food. Exactly what we needed after a week of pasta and pizza. Service was excellent and the staff so charming.

This place had incredible views! The restaurant itself is very trendy. The food looked incredible and tasted ALMOST as good as it looked! My only issue was with the price that they were charging for their food! €20 per dish seemed a touch steep for what it was. However I still would recommend checking this place out for breakfast or lunch!

The avocado toast with eggs elevated this ubiquitous brunch staple into something memorable – perfectly ripe avocado crowned with eggs cooked just right, each element singing in harmony. The omelet arrived fluffy and generous, a testament to kitchen fundamentals executed with care. But the revelation was the crispy filo pastry with feta, honey, pears, and walnuts. This dish alone is worth seeking out Casa e Bottega. The contrast of textures – shattering phyllo giving way to creamy feta, the sweetness of honey playing against the earthiness of walnuts, with pears providing a fresh counterpoint – created a symphony of Mediterranean flavors that lingered long after the last bite. What sets Casa e Bottega apart is the evident thought behind every detail. The food isn't just prepared; it's composed with intention. The space itself feels orchestrated for visual pleasure without trying too hard – a natural extension of Positano's effortless beauty rather than a forced Instagram backdrop. The hospitality deserves special mention. In a town where tourist fatigue can sometimes show through forced smiles, the team here offers genuine warmth without holding back. They seem to understand that sometimes the greatest luxury isn't white tablecloths and stiff service, but rather feeling welcomed into a space where you can pause, breathe, and savor both the moment and the meal. Casa e Bottega is that rare find – a place that manages to be both a respite from your travels and a highlight of them. Bravo indeed.

The chicken salad tasted refreshing and the ravioli with walnuts was delicious. The vibes were relaxing which made it a good spot for a brunch break while exploring around the coast.
